This
site is dedicated to the identification of the Mystery Roses at Fairmount
and Riverside Cemeteries in Denver, Colorado.
Both
cemeteries have roses planted by gravestones dating from the late 1800's
on. There are species roses, Bourbons, Hybrid perpetual, possibly Portlands,
mosses and climbers. They are hardy roses, surviving in Denver's high
dessert climate. When planted, they had names and recognized breeders.
Now they grow, in anonymity.
If you, the guest,
think you recognize a rose on this web site, please contact John Starns,
"the GARDENDOCTOR" or Toni Tichy at atsphinx@aol.com.
